Dennis
Mueller is the Head Coach for the Tiger Sharks. Currently, he is
head coach for both boys and girls varsity swim teams at Bishop
Miege High School. In the nine years he has been there, Coach
Dennis has helped develop three High School All-Americans and sent
over 12 swimmers to the NCAA Division I and II on swim
scholarships.
Twice
during his high school career Dennis was a state finalist in the
100 breastroke. He attended Missouri State (formerly Southwest
Missouri State University) where he played 4 years of baseball and
swam for 2 years. He also taught swimming at the Springfield Boys
Club. Swimming has been a major factor in his life, and he is
committed to the growth of the Tiger Shark swimmers.

Rebecca England

Rebecca England has a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education
and a Teacher’s Certification in Physical Education &
Health. She started
swimming competitively when she was 7 years old and stopped at age
18. Her Nevada and California swim teams were highly competitive,
which enabled her to be a Division I swimmer at the age of 9. She has 21 years of swim
lesson experience (all ages) and 17 years of coaching
experience.
She is goal-oriented, and takes personal pride in helping her team
members improve their times and achieve their personal goals. She has the knowledge and
experience to help each swimmer meet their goals, and expects
100% from her swimmers during practice. She is always available to both
parents and swimmers, and welcomes an open relationship between
staff and team members and their families.

Stacey Kelter

Stacey Kelter is
married and has four daughters. All four of her daughters swim.
Stacey is a lifeguard as well as a water safety instructor. She has
taught swim lessons for eight years, and enjoys seeing her students
excel in the water. She is employed by the Olathe School District
working with children that have special needs. She loves working
with younger swimmers to develop their skills and give them a
positive experience in this lifetime sport.

Adam Bien
Coach

Adam Bien graduated from Blue Valley North High School where he
was a member of the swim team that won three State Championships
and a runner-up in his four years. He was a state qualifier in the
Backstroke and Individual Medley. He graduated from the University
of Missouri with BA in Communications. He has been coaching for 6
years and recently coached for St Thomas Aquinas and St James
Academy.
Adam has a teacher’s certification in Social Studies and
is working on his master’s degree in Curriculum and
Instruction at UMKC. He is currently working as a substitute
teacher in Blue Valley and Olathe School Districts and looking for
a full time teaching position for the 2010-2011 year.
He believes that through hard work swimmers will find positive
results.
He is dedicated to help swimmers in any way he can. He is
excited to be a member of the Tiger Sharks!
